Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for Occupational Therapist positions. Under the direction of the Director, the Occupational Therapist provides assessment, consultation to parents and teachers, and/or direct treatment for children with disabilities conditions for preschool - school-aged children as part of a multi-disciplinary team; prepares records and reports; and performs related work as required.

 DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar
• WORKSITE:  Special Education/District-Wide 
• WORK SCHEDULE:  7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Graduation from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy. Bachelor's and Master’s degrees preferred. Typical qualifying experience would include work experience with school-aged children; experience working in a variety of settings including school, home, and clinic, and working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Training in sensory integration testing and techniques and experience working collaboratively with families is desirable.
• REQUIRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association as an Occupational Therapist, Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and current license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
