The District is recruiting qualified and credentialed Teacher Induction Mentors (formally known as BTSA Support Providers). We need for Mentors to support our new teachers with multiple-subject, single-subject, and special education credentials at all of our school sites. Please submit a short online application if you are interested in being a Teacher Mentor beginning in the 2026-2027 school year.

The San Diego County Office of Education Teacher Induction Program is a two-year induction program for teachers new to the profession or new to California. Teachers eligible for the Induction Program are assigned to experienced teachers (a “Mentor”) who guide the new teacher through an individualized induction plan that supports the professional development of the new teachers.
